PLAGUE

Currently I'm quite interested in the Plague and it's religious attachments. This is an illustration, first of all, of a Plague Doctor and his usual doings when a plague hits his area of town and he is called.

Plague doctors go about the city, basically cleaning it of the plague. they can do this by dragging the dead bodies away in large carts, lased with incense and herbs, as well as helping the dead die, and doing whatever else they do...
obviously I'm not sure of what EXACTLY they do, but only the basics.

in this illustration, I'm showing a creature...not a doctor. a creature that is tall with an omitting power, fear that seems to run from it, and a physical power that no one really cares to know more of.

SIBLINGS

This piece gives a strong line of hope to the viewer, and the characters.

the siblings are cross dressing- girl as boy, and boy as girl. what is shown are two socially-abused siblings that love each other deeper then the common eye can see, building each others hope and courage up...to the point that one would see now. The Final Product; the piece of art.

there is strength, hope, and a sense of confusion and loss in this piece, which reflects their life-long story of struggle and hardened hope for social acceptance.

UNTITLED PHOTO/MIXED MEDIA COLLEGE

Looking messy and gaped, this piece still flows well and evenly throughout. the colors are simple and limited, which complements on the very radical lines, shapes and forms on this piece.

It gives off the idea of energy, and easy-flow of such. Energy for creation and designing, and creation for anew.

Creation mainly in art, i would say- but also in a new life and new ideas.

OWL- SKATEBOARD

My intent for this piece is to conduct fear.

Inspired from the movie "FOURTH KIND", it gave me this scene of helpless weakness...though this piece's intentions are not to such an extreme, it's black and white choppy tone still doesn't give off a happy-go-lucky vibe.

It's angle, black eyes, chopped feathers and distant gradations from black to white, white to black is an obvious clue to a darker inspiration, and a darker intent.

MEN OF TOUNGES- SKATEBOARD

This piece was mainly a practice and development piece for my own skills, working on a different type of a canvas layout; very horizontal.

though as such, there is more of a childish tone to this piece. it feels unfinished, "creative?", and wanting more. that said, I'm still attached to the idea that I can develop greatly from this.

it turns into an inspiration.
that is this piece.

SHE WOLF

Silence.

This entire piece is developed around the notion of silence. whether it be metaphorically, with sound, objects, placement or whatever one would indicate to themselves- it's purpose is of caution and mute.

the point is of History as well.
While staring at this piece, I find it secretively telling a story or future and past. What was the wolf doing before? what will she do after? It pulls to a unfinished conclusion, or a finished conclusion of the tradition that time never stops.
